Pushing the Boundaries of Infrastructure

Dusault Engineering is driven by a vision to transform select infrastructure through breakthrough innovations. We work with university and other partners to develop and commercialize the “impossible". A primary goal is to create hyper-efficient structures that are more cost effective and can be rapidly deployed.

Founder and Owner, Dusault Engineering

Building the Future

Allen Dusault has led environmental, energy, and climate innovation for over 40 years. A nationally recognized leader in building decarbonization and sustainability, he brings a career spanning engineering, policy, R&D, and business development. From installing high-efficiency CO₂ capture systems in schools to developing AI-driven energy solutions and hydrogen compatible technologies, Allen’s work bridges technical depth with real-world impact.

He has collaborated with leading research institutions across the U.S. and Canada, including Argonne National Labs, Oak Ridge, Lawrence Berkeley, and the Illinois Institute of Technology. His breakthrough gravity inverting structural system - designed for hyper-efficient bridge construction - won two international awards from the American Society of Civil Engineers and a U.S. utility patent.

Allen has received the “Prime Mover Award” from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and a leadership award from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. In 2024, his student-led team won the Kaplan Entrepreneurship Prize for innovations that cut energy use by over 50%.
He holds several degrees from institutions in the U.S. and Canada, including two from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, and resides in the Chicago area.
